Candid in her views, Tara knows how to deliver messages that resonate across multiple generations. Tara’s story of her lived experience, is one of raw honesty and integrity. Diagnosed as HIV-positive in 2004, Tara exudes resiliency and has been a leader for many people over the years.
Tara’s educational pursuits have taken her to seven countries for some serious studying. One of her many accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts Degree earned in London, England. Tara offers over a decade of professional expertise gained through national and international work and volunteer roles. She has worked with the federal government, the Toronto People with AIDS Foundation, The Teresa Group and, currently manages the Positive Leadership Development Institute on behalf of the Ontario AIDS Network (OAN) . She currently sits on The Federated Health Charity board and is Co-chair of The International Community of women living with HIV-North American chapter. Tara offers a unique and valuable perspective when it comes to living with HIV and enjoys inspiring others to truly live life to the fullest.
